Kreuzberg-Tour

This very interesting and exciting tour takes us through four different and lively neighbourhoods in Kreuzberg, the most vibrant and multicultural district in Berlin, as we learn about the past and present of this remarkable home to the "real Berlin". We will learn about the wild squatter experiences during the 1980s and the many culinary delights that Kreuzberg currently has on offer.

At the end of this very interesting tour, we will cross the River Spree on the historic Oberbaumbrücke and cycle along the world-famous East Side Gallery back to Alexanderplatz or the Brandenburg Gate.

Potsdamer Platz; Anhalter Station; Mehringdamm; Curry 36; Riehmers Hofgarten; the Bergmann Neighbourhood with Bergmannstraße, Chamisso Platz and surroundings, and Marheineke Markthalle; Südstern; the Graefe Neighbourhood with Graefestraße, the Landwehr Canal, the "Turkish Market"; Admiralbrücke; Kottbusser Tor; the Oranienstraße Neighbourhood with Adalbertstraße, Oranienstraße, Mariannenplatz, Künstlerhaus Bethanien; the Wrangel Neighbourhood with Wrangelstraße, Markthalle Neun, the elevated U-Bahn Line 1, Falkensteinstraße, and Schlesische Straße; the Flutgraben; a former East German watchtower; the Oberbaumbrücke; Mediaspree; the East Side Gallery (the longest stretch of the Wall still standing); Berlin Town Hall; Alexanderplatz; Museum Island; Humboldt Forum; the former Royal Armoury; Unter den Linden; Pariser Platz; and the Brandenburg Gate

At your request, a fun bike or rickshaw tour following this route can end at popular outdoor beer gardens along the Flutgraben or the Landwehr Canal in Kreuzberg or at Alexanderplatz.
